Dr Naz Raoof is a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Moorfields Eye Hospital and the Royal London Hospital in the United Kingdom. Her subspecialty interests are neuro-ophthalmology (both pediatric and adult), strabismus and pediatric ophthalmology. She attended medical school at the University of Oxford and completed her Ophthalmology surgical training in Sheffield, South Yorkshire (UK). She has undertaken two further subspecialty Fellowships at Moorfields Eye Hospital (UK) and in Auckland (New Zealand). She is currently a member of the Pediatric Subcommittee of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (UK).
Dr Raoof has a longstanding interest in teaching and training within Ophthalmology and currently holds the post of Honorary Clinical Senior Teaching Fellow at University College London/Institute of Ophthalmology, where she is the lead for Paediatrics, Strabismus and Neuro-ophthalmology on the Ophthalmology MSc course.
Dr Raoof has a longstanding interest in clinical research. As an Ophthalmologist in training, she has been awarded the Ivor Levy Prize at the Royal College of Ophthalmology Annual Congress (2013) for the best poster on a neuro- ophthalmology topic and also the Ian Fraser Cup by the Oxford Ophthalmological Congress (2014) for the best poster on a clinical topic.
