The Caribbean Ophthalmology Research Alliance

The Caribbean Ophthalmology Research Alliance (CORA) is a charitable organisation that was founded with the goal of advancing ophthalmology in the Caribbean. CORA awards research grants for studies into eye diseases that affect Caribbean people. CORA also offers a basic research course free of charge to the ophthalmology community!

Lemonade

Twin brothers Luke & Dominic wanted to buy 2 laptops for summer camp so they decided to sell lemonade & muffins outside their house in the morning before school and they got their laptops! The lemonade was such a hit, with many requests they started to sell the product on a bigger market and donate to the Caribbean Ophthalmology Research Alliance.

On February 17th 2019 Caribbean Ophthalmology Research Alliance (CORA) is hosting their annual Fancy Hat Tea Party to aid in local research geared at tackling the high incidences in our region of several non-communicative diseases that affect our vision!
